Congratulations to the winners of Escape Pod’s Flash Fiction Contest, as chosen by our community forum members! Their stories will appear in Episode 641.
Escape Pod is looking for a holiday-themed story to run at the end of the year. We are accepting reprints and originals for this limited submissions call, which will run from Oct 1 – Oct 15, 2018.
Stories should follow our general guidelines for subject matter and word count. They should also incorporate a holiday that could take place in November or December by an Earth-based Gregorian calendar.
If you have a story in our general submissions that you would like considered for the special call, let us know by email to ansible@escapeartists.net, otherwise, please use the Submittable portal below for our Holiday Special.

Voting is now open for our flash fiction contest! Preliminary rounds of voting will run weekly through June 10. Semi-final voting will run June 12-19, and the finalists will be determined June 20-27.

Escape Pod’s Flash Fiction contest returns to the Solar System this year, and it lands on April 15!
Submissions will run from April 15-30, 2018, via this link on Submittable:

To be a valid submission to the contest, each story must adhere to the following rules:
Winners will be paid $30, making this a pro sale of at least six cents a word.
Please blog, tweet, email, send postcards, telephone, summon demons, and otherwise get the word out.
