Summers, I sleep on rooftops. Under smokestacks, beside stairs, in the sudden green of precarious gardens.
Rated PG. Contains mythical figures.

Quite bleak, wonderful imagery there. But then again, I expected no less from Racheal after hearing (A Post Human Creation Myth)

hmm good but really not my cup of tea
sorry, I need my short stories to either shock or suprise or else take me somewhere I want to go or that I have never been. A clever twist, an unexpected turn please not over indulgent imagery with little sense of purpose. Felt like a snippet of a larger story not a complete short story in itself, hope that isnt too unfair and it it a personal taste i guess.
I liked this one. I think it’s the best one I’ve heard from Rachel yet. I’m hearing them backwards starting from 2008-12-18. There were some poignant remarks. I’m not entirely certain of the affect the remark made but that’s what makes the story worth listening to over and over. It wasn’t a pointless story, it’s infinity better. It’s a story without an obvious point. I know there’s more emotion to be mined so I can enjoy this one several times.
My correction. This is the only one by Rachel I’ve read. She was just the poster, not the author on the others.
