It makes me feel dumb to say this… but I’m not sure that I get it.

Second person. :D Excellent little story!

I think this was well written, but I agree with Magess to a certain degree. The ambiguity of it gave it a definitive lack of “oomph” at the end.

Even though I can use my imagination and figure it out :)

Here’s my take(s) on Strange Girlfriend:

By asking all those questions, she’s telling him she knows he’s not the man he used to be….

By recognizing all her subtle nuances, he gives away the fact that he isn’t the man he used to be….

Hi Scott. Great story. I don’t think I delved as deep as everyone else to try and figure it out…I more or less just sat back and enjoyed it. I enjoyed the question, the test…by the girlfriend…I enjoyed him recognizing the test…I enjoyed his way of ducking the female issues behind the question….and, lastly, I enjoyed the ending. I was left wondering, well…has she been duplicated, inhabited? Or not? His answer, her answer, makes it unsure that he would even know. And isn’t that the whole point? Smiles.

Funny way to sort of meet you. But this is Vicky.
